🧀 Classic Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Golden, crispy bread with perfectly melted, gooey cheese inside — simple and unbeatable.


🛒 Ingredients (Makes 1 sandwich)

  • 2 slices bread (white, sourdough, or whole wheat)
  • 2 slices cheddar, American, or Swiss cheese
  • 1–2 tbsp butter (softened)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Butter the Bread
Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice.

2️⃣ Assemble
Place one slice butter-side down in a skillet.
Add cheese on top.
Place second slice butter-side up.

3️⃣ Cook Low & Slow
Heat over medium-low.
Cook 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
Flip carefully and cook another 2–4 minutes until cheese melts and bread is crisp.

4️⃣ Rest & Slice
Let sit 1 minute before cutting — this helps the cheese set slightly.
